Welcome to my blog. 
I'm Erika.

A  milspouse and stay at home mother who is navigating life at 31 years old. 

A Midwesterner. A writer. A Jesus follower. A rare INFJ. 
My favorite story is the story people are afraid to tell.
I live in the details, cry every time I see It's a Wonderful Life, and I'm finally brave enough to bake homemade bread and cherry pies.

I spend my days with two little ones, my nights with a book or a laptop,

and my few free moments are used to write, because this is how I breathe.

This is my husband, Sky. He has both civilian and military jobs, and works hard to take care of his family. We have been married six and a half years. They haven't been easy years, but we're growing, changing, and relying on God to help us make it each day. We've never been happier, and count our blessings for that.

This is my daughter, Millie. She is a full-of-life five year old, who dances and sings most of the day. Millie loves the spotlight and making new friends. She is almost ready to begin her first grade year (and our second year homeschooling). She has a good heart, and I can't wait to watch her grow.

This is Walter, the baby of the family. He turned three in June, and makes us all smile. He's incredibly sweet, and he is still a mama's boy, which I adore right now. Even though he is a cuddle bug, he's also busy climbing, growing, and playing. He seems to turn into a little boy more and more every day, even though it feels as if he was just born. 

This is my little family. 

They've grown my heart bigger than I could have ever imagined.
